3 Card Pull: Nine, Three, Oracle
We are shifting our mindsets from that of luxury and material gain, thru the heartache of realizing we need not seek external happiness, to embracing our understanding of existing as spiritual beings in a human body.
The 9 of pentacles gives us a false sense of peace, hope, and luxury… Which is fine, because we are human beings, and we do deserve to enjoy these things on the human plane of existence while we’re here, especially when we are self-made and give these things to ourselves.
But once we Begin really healing as a collective and as a society, we start to realize that those once tangible things are just fill-ins for our emotions that we don’t know how to cope with. when we start to disintegrate that structure, and understand that everything we have in this lifetime can’t come with us when we move on, we begin to feel more connected to ourselves and the collective in a spiritual way versus a material-plane way.
Both are good, both are harmonious - we need both to balance the spectrum of the human experience, but we become more willing to sit inside ourselves and observe and feel, then to just engage and distract ourselves with STUFF. The oracle (high priestess) is comfortable in her ice throne, delving in and out of the human experience into the spirit realm. The solstice is always a wonderful time to experience this duality. So make a fortress of solitude; now, can you sit inside of it with nothing else but your own mind, heart, and soul and ask yourself if you are really happy? What is the answer?
